BIG4 Cane Village Holiday Park

My family and I stayed here overnight while travelling to Yeppoon for our Christmas Holiday. It's a lovely little caravan park. The park staff were so lovely. We stayed on a slab sight. The amenities where very clean and tidy and plenty of them. The laundry facilities were great as well. Plenty of washing machines. No need to have change with these either as you can tap your card or phone. The swimming pool though did need to be cleaned. Whilst I didn't go in my daughters did and they said there was paper, bandaids, and was quite hazey. Other than that our stay was great. We would definitely stay here again. It's the perfect half way point from Brisbane to Yeppoon.

Spent four nights here - caravan site was good size for my 22foot van - had a look at other sites in the park based on some of the previous negative comments. People need to get a life - they were no different to most parks - some site’s smaller than others. Shower/toilet block clean and well set up. Location is good if you want to be near shops, airport nearby can be a bit noisy but not an issue personally. Would probably stay again if I wanted to be based in town.

I really enjoyed my stay in Turtle Cabin 54 for five days. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the linen was soft. The cabin had almost everything you need for a self contained cabin, the only thing I would have liked was a mini oven, but otherwise it was excellent. The staff were warm, welcoming and very accommodating. The location is spot on. 600m from uni, 700m from the shopping centre, and conveniently close to the airport. In fact, if you are staying here for uni, you can walk everywhere so don't necessarily need a rental car. The cabins are private, and the site itself was quiet and serene. The pool and BBQ facilities are great and were it warmer, I would certainly have used them. Without hesitation, I recommend staying in a cabin at the Bundaberg Cane village. Should I ever return to Bundy for uni or pleasure, I will definitely stay there again.

Stayed on a powered site for 3 weeks. Felt the area we were placed was far too small for our 21’ van. No manoeuvring room as roads are very narrow, poles and trees everywhere. We were just near amenities and the size of the Jayco site next door made us feel very confined and hemmed in. The trees above our van continually dropped seed pods which sounded like rocks dropping on the roof of our van. We went for a walk around the park and saw the wider opened space of the grass sites and we wondered why we, and others with large vans were given sites where we were. The location of the park was good for shopping. But the noise from the airport and the helicopters is annoying. Especially the helicopter at 3am. Would only ever come consider this park again if we were placed around on a grass site.
